      A Journey Through Spain with Yitzhak Navon 
 
    A documentary masterpiece on 8 one-hour videocassettes, "Out of Spain 1492" was produced by the Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA) to mark the 500th anniversary of the Jewish expulsion from Spain. This spectacular journey through Spain is guided by Yitzhak Navon, fifth president of the State of Israel, and former Minister of Education. 

    Navon and the IBA team take the viewer deep into the heart of Spain - to places such as Toledo, Cordoba - to visit historical sites and recent discoveries that tell the story of the Jews in Spain, Portugal and Majorca. 

    Accompanying this moving journey is a stirring soundtrack of authentic Ladino  music.
